Measuring Tips to Get the Right Fit

It is important to take the style of garment into consideration when using the Self Measure Guide.

Different styles have different fittings, some are slim fit, some are loose fit. The sizing specifications

will alsovary between garment manufacturer. The best way to ensure thecorrect fit is to request a size

set.

 

Self Measure Guide

 

A. Neck

Measure loosely around neck at collar level making allowance for comfort

B. Chest

Keep the tape up under arms while measuring around the fuller part of the chest

C. Arm

With arm relaxed at your side and slightly bent, measure from the tip of your

shoulder down to your wrist. Some garments require an arm measurement to be

taken from centre of your back. The recommended method is noted in the size chart

A. Bust

Measure around fullest part of bust, keeping tape up under arms and around shoulder

blades. Keep one finger between tape and body.

B. Waist

Hold one finger between body and tape while measuring around the waist

(and over any under garments).

C. Hips

For a comfortable fit, measure around the fullest part of the hip area.
